Daytona 500 is a single-day event (Sunday) but many fans attend the full Speedweeks schedule. If attending just the 500, a same-day round trip is common and practical.
February weather in Daytona Beach is typically pleasant (60s-70s F) but rain delays are possible. The race can be postponed to Monday if weather is severe.
